A primary mission of the 利昂县警长’s is to prevent, 准备, 保护, defend and recover from both man-made and natural events. The LCSO attempts to accomplish this mission through a multi-pronged approach involving 年龄ncy strategies and collaborative partnerships with other state, 当地的, 以及联邦合作伙伴.  

The 利昂县警长’s Office’s remains actively eng年龄d with the State of Florida Domestic Security Strategy on the state level. In addition to policy making on the state level, the LCSO works with its law enforcement partners investigating all incidents related to domestic security that occur in the region.

The LCSO serves as the coordinating 年龄ncy for the State 国土安全 Grant Program within this region of the state.  This program has assisted the entire region in numerous disciplines including; law enforcement, 火, 健康, 应急管理, emergency medical services, 农业, critical infrastructure and campus security.
